Social networks and opportunities to the face of the pandemic
In this blog we seek to demonstrate how Peruvian creativity is something we should be proud of and how using it helped fight the rough path that this pandemic gave to our economy.
It is nothing new to talk about the development of the digital world, however since the beginning of this pandemic, the opportunities to take advantage of these tools have made social networks play an important role in the development of Peruvian enterprises. Many people decided to start a business during this difficult time as a way to survive and keep making an income, they became entrepreneurs. This is the case of the peruvian businesses that emerged or decided to reinvent themselves through e-commerce, different ideas were launched, some of them we never thought would even be necessary until they appeared. These new business opportunities are the perfect example of turning a negative situation into a positive one.
We´ll now show some examples:
EL DOCTOR ANTIPLAGAS
The need of protocols to make spaces safe due to the virus, gave rise to the emergence of companies specialized in space cleaning and disinfection, or in other cases the transformation of their services. This is the case of El Doctor Antiplagas, a company specialized in fumigations, that transformed and now it also provides the disinfection service against Covid-19.
CANCHITO PERÚ
Canchito Perú was created during the first year of the pandemic, in 2020. It started because all the cinemas were closed and people started missing the cinema pop-corn, they started only with the “Sal Canchito” which is basically butter salt and now they've added two more products which are the “Canchito Caramel” and the “Pack Nachito”. In their Instagram account they have more than 8 000 followers and in their tiktok account they have more than 2 000 followers.
